Overview
Responsibilities:
– Stack received merchandise on pallets or racks, organizing inventory efficiently.
– Complete and issue requisition forms for inventory and supplies as needed.
– Monitor stock levels and notify the manager/supervisor when supplies are low.
– Receive and store deliveries, ensuring perishables are rotated and stored properly.
– Inspect deliveries for freshness, cleanliness, quality, and consistency, refusing any damaged or incorrect items.
– Follow food safety and handling policies across all food-related areas.
– Clean and sanitize refrigerators, freezers, floors, food equipment, and drains.
– Remove and properly dispose of empty pallets, cardboard, and trash.
Requirements:
– At least 1 year of experience in a hotel or related field.
– High School diploma or equivalent.
– Proficiency in Windows operating systems, spreadsheets, and word processing software.
– Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
– Effective communication skills in English (verbal and written); basic proficiency in Spanish and knowledge of Papiamentu and Dutch are advantageous.
– Flexibility to handle tasks efficiently while ensuring adherence to quality standards.
