Overview
Responsibilities:
– Operate dishwashing equipment to thoroughly clean and sanitize all chinaware, glassware, and silverware.
– Carefully store clean items in designated locations to minimize breakage and maintain organization.
– Wash and sanitize pots, pans, and kitchen utensils, ensuring they are stored in the correct places.
– Sweep and mop floors in the kitchen and restaurant to maintain a safe and clean environment.
– Empty and dispose of trash in different areas.
– Maintain cleanliness in the back dock and dumpster areas.
– Assist with food storage and rotation to ensure freshness and proper handling.
Requirements:
– High School diploma or equivalent.
– Preferred experience in a hotel or similar environment.
– Strong communication skills with the ability to convey information effectively.
– Flexibility to work a rotating schedule, including shifts from Monday through Sunday and on holidays.
