An Operations Manager plays a vital role in our company. To continue operating at our high standards, we’re seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join us. You’re an expert communicator with a strong ability to direct, coordinate and optimize overall business operations and collaborate across a wide range of departments. Ultimately, you are driven by the desire to lead a team toward maximum productivity and efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee overall operations; operations, labor, budgets, project delivery and strategies.
  • Prepare and complete action plans; implement production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards, resolve problems and complete audits.
  • Serve as a company representative on regulatory issues.
  • Work closely with the managers and help set and meet daily and quarterly goals.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following and enforcing standards and procedures, complying with legal regulations.
  • Oversees and reports weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual metrics.
  • Identifies trends and assess opportunities to improve processes and execution.
  • Work closely with the procurement specialist to perform analysis of the inventory and effectively ensure usage of inventory, purchasing the right equipment, maintain solid inventory data and reduce expenses.
  • Make important policy, planning, and strategy decisions.
  • Develop, implement, and review operational policies and procedures.
  • Help create a company culture that encourages top performance and high morale.
  • Ensure all documentation is filled and monitor compliance with laws and regulations.
  • Work with the board of directors to accomplish our values and mission and plan for short and long-term goals.
  • Identify and address problems and opportunities.
  • Manage tracking of all costs and calculate product pricing, efficient usage of products and waste tracking.
  • Keep track of quantity, quality, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency of usage.
  • Track financial activities such as budgeting, cost management, expenses reporting and payroll tracking.
  • Accountable for periodic physical count of stock, reporting any discrepancies found after stock take.
  • Manage inventory quality and quantity, stock management flow from warehouse to stores.
  • Closely work with the marketing department and analyze sales forecasts for future orders; understand customer behavior; ensure a proper mix of products and pricing is achieved.
  • Collaborate in project meetings and report on progress’ within Production, Food safety and Quality Assurance in order to build strategic plans.
  • Solve any arising problem; with customers, suppliers or workers.
  • Develop and maintain sufficient inventory to ensure uninterrupted field activities including order entry, production and availability, product quality assurance.

Requirements

  • HBO Business Management / Operations Management.
  • Minimal of 5 years of General Management experience in a retail or food environment.
  • Able to perform and analyze financial calculations and create and manage budgets.
  • Results oriented leadership approach, ability to lead people by building relationships among managers, partners, and the team.
  • Ability to make decisions and solve problems.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook, and Word.
