### Job Description
As Local Commander, you manage the Sint Eustatius fire department, ensuring effective response to emergencies and adherence to safety protocols.
### Responsibilities
– Lead the fire brigade on Sint Eustatius.
– Act as liaison with local government and other agencies.
– Oversee team performance and operational efficiency.
### Requirements
– HBO+ level education with leadership experience in fire services.
– Knowledge of IFV standards for Hoofd Officier van Dienst.
– Fluent in Dutch and English.
### Employment Terms
– Salary: $4,050 to $5,920 per month based on a 36-hour work week.
– Relocation support for off-island candidates.
