The SVOA oversees the management of Colegio Arubano and Stichting Pro-SVOA, focusing on education and upbringing within a Roman Catholic identity in Aruba.
### Job Description
As the General Director of SVOA, you are responsible for operational leadership, personnel management, financial oversight, and policy execution. You represent SVOA externally and provide strategic advice to the board.
### Responsibilities
– Represent the SVOA board in external contacts, including government agencies.
– Supervise operations, personnel, and financial management of SVOA, Pro-SVOA, and Colegio Arubano.
– Develop multi-year organizational plans and budgets.
– Monitor educational and organizational developments nationally and internationally.
– Maintain the identity and culture of SVOA.
### Requirements
– Master’s degree with academic-level thinking and management experience in education.
– Proficient in educational, operational, and financial policies.
– Strong knowledge of Exact, Microsoft applications, and automated systems.
– Fluent in Dutch, Papiamento, and English.
– Excellent planning, organizational, and communication skills.
### Employment Terms
– Full-time role (40 hours per week).
– Salary as per the civil servants’ remuneration policy (BRA).
– 25% gross monthly allowance as per LMA article 25.
